Caterpillar Vase
H4CATC
Regular price $20.95 Limited Time | Save Liquid error (product-template line 133): -Infinity%
How do you solve the problem of what to do with the flowers your kids and grandkids bring you from the yard?? This was the question we set about answering and the result was one of the most universally loved bud vases in Chive history.
The Caterpillar is a super cute glass flower vase for 6 single flowers. Each of the 6 round clear glass balls are joined together in a row. There is no separation between the balls so you only need to fill one hole with water and you will fill the whole vase. Each hole is about a half inch wide so you'll need to use those small flowers the kids bring in, or the cuttings from your garden if you got a little zealous whilst deadheading.
Our absolute favourite flower to use in it is Ranunculus, but in a pinch pop by the grocery store and get a bunch of Kermit Mums and it will looks just as sweet.
This light weight bud vase makes flower arranging fun and easy. Treat yourself to some spray roses and make an elegant, low laying decorative centrepiece on your table for your next dinner party.

A very nice little holder for small flowers. My grandchildren are always bringing me flowers from my garden or even the park with very short stems and this vase gives me a beautiful way to display them. I also have some flowers that are just perfect for this small catapiller vase. Quality is good and I dropped the box on our hardwood floor and was happy to open it to find no damage so I’d say the packaging is good, too.

As others have stated, this is a very small vase. It's actually a bud vase, not a flower vase, so the title is deceiving. It's designed to have each "bubble" hold a single, small flower. You can't put six gerbera daisies in this (they're too large/heavy), but you could put six wild daisies or six black-eyed susans. I got this for my mom on Mother's Day and she keeps it on the windowsill in her kitchen with cut wildflowers from her garden.
It is glass, not plastic, and fairly thin so you'll have to be gentile with it. Mine arrived poorly packed in just a padded envelope but surprisingly it was undamaged.

I am somewhat disappointed that I ordered several items, spending a significant amount of money, and have not received any of the order yet. I ordered them when I did because I need the items for Christmas presents that I am making. Because I have not received the order yet, I have not been able to make them, so I will be under a lot of pressure to complete them on time. I hope this does not happen with all your mail orders.
Hi Mary! Looks like your order delivered yesterday! It did take it's sweet time getting to you. It left our hands up here at Chive HQ in Toronto on Dec 4, just 4 days after you ordered. USPS is experiencing SHIPAGEDDON right now, they are bursting at the seams with the surge in Christmas orders because of Covid. Happy they made it to you, always feel free to email us directly with any order questions. There's only 8 of us but we always reply back to people within a few hours :)

Big Caterpillar Vase
H5BIGC
Regular price $37.95 Limited Time | Save Liquid error (product-template line 133): -Infinity%
We love a dramatic glass flower vase and we designed our Big Caterpillar bud vase to make flower arranging fun and easy but still sophisticated and elegant.
Each of the 4 round clear glass balls are joined together in a row. There is no separation between the balls so you only need to fill one hole with water and you will fill the whole vase. Simply take any flowers or clippings from your garden, or snip out a few from a grocery store bouquet, plop them in the 1/2" hole at the top of each sphere and you've succeed at creating a super cool centrepiece arrangement. You can achieve a dramatic effect in the center of your table while still being able to look across the table and speak to your dinner guests without a large flower arrangement in the way.

I ordered two vases over two weeks ago and have not received them nor any shipping information or updates. I paid for priority shipping as well; very dissapointing!
Hi Traci!! I trust you received my email about USPS and Shippageddon. Looks like it is delivered now! Yay!!
I found a similar glass flower vase at Marshalls. It was love at first sight. However there were only three connected vases and they were small. It was a constantly complimented accessory on my dining table. I cherished it and one night a dinner party guest accidently bumped it with a serving dish and it broke. You know the way it is at Marshalls, I never found another one again. A year has passed and I 'googled' it often but didn't know how to describe it. At last I think googled 'connected vases' and voila up came the 'Caterpillar' vase. it's a bit bigger than the last one but that's a good thing, it's easier to put the flower stems in. As a dining table accessory (or anywhere else) it's a dramatic pop of color with just a few flowers! SO glad I found it.

I gave this vase to my mother as a gift and she loved it. it is so cool, i may purchase one for my own home. I like it's low profile which doesn't take up much room. I also think its unique in that you only fill water up in one hole, and based on its design, water is allowed to flow freely through each of the 4 "pods". Very unique vase and great gift idea.
