Plant Only: 8” Cissus Amazonica - While stunningly exotic with its green one side and pink or burgundy on the other side foliage, this is definitely not a plant for first timers. You will want to ensure a consistently humid environment and consistent watering. Use a pebble tray for the humidity and check on it every few days to see how the soil is doing, when it is dry down about a third of the pot it is time for a drink. Think terrarium, Amazon Jungle, or conservatory and that's what you're going for in terms of humidity. It will love a hanging planter or trellis to either dangle or climb. Bright, indirect light is needed to keep the colours strong and vivid, and that direct sun can burn the thin leaves so be watchful for that. The leaves and stems produce a natural secretion, tiny opaque dots, called cystoliths so don't freak out if you think they are pests. Non-Toxic to pets.
