Best Selling Ceramic Flowers
The ones that keep selling out. When a Classic Collection flower is gone, it’s gone for good — we don’t reissue, we design the next one. Choose accordingly.
What Is a Ceramic Wall Flower?
A ceramic wall flower is a handmade ceramic sculpture that mounts to any wall with a single screw — or sits on a shelf when a wall isn’t available. Colourfast, waterproof, and entirely indifferent to sunlight, humidity, and your travel schedule. These are flowers that don’t die. They look the same in fifteen years as the day they arrived, which is more than most plants will tell you.
Start with one and the room looks intentional. Add another each year and the wall becomes a collection — the kind people ask about at dinner parties. It’s wall art that didn’t come flat-packed, and it grows.
Original designs since 2004
Chive Studio was founded in Toronto in 2004 by Todd Newgren — always original, often copied. Over two decades of designing and handmaking ceramic wall flowers, plant pots, and vases — no shortcuts, and apparently no indication of slowing down. We also run a small plant shop on Queen Street in Toronto, which is either market research or an addiction, depending on who’s asking. This is what happens when the people designing your plant pots are the same people rescuing the sad fern in the corner.
Our work is stocked in the Getty Museum, the Art Gallery of Ontario, and independent art galleries, museum shops, and botanical institutions worldwide. Exhibiting at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show since 2013; twice awarded the 5-star booth award — only two are given each year.
A gift they’ll keep. Where people can see it.
Pretty flowers in pretty boxes. Here’s the play: she was born in June, so she gets the June rose. Your mother’s a March baby — daffodil. Your sister, October — marigold. Next year, add one. The year after, add another. Three walls, growing. Three people who think you’re thoughtful. One decision, made once, running on autopilot for the rest of your natural life. You’re welcome.
