Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting the right houseplant for them
- Process online and instore sales through POS
- Prepare and package orders for pickup and/or deliveries
- Watering, cleaning, and repotting houseplants
- Strategically restock the store shelves, display table, and retail window
- Receive/unload new shipments of plants
- General cleaning and tidying of the store front and back room
- Some heavy lifting required. Standing up for majority of the shift with some bending and squatting.
Skills:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience and strong knowledge with houseplant care
- Sales and retail experience an asset
- Experience with POS
- Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills required
