I never imagined I'd be this excited about a fake flower, yet here I am, positively giddy over a ceramic Camellia that's about as real as my childhood dreams of becoming a professional mime. This ivory behemoth, large enough to make my wall look like it's sprouting botanical tumors, has single-handedly solved the existential crisis of "what to hang on a wall" without resorting to the clich?? family portraits or those insufferable motivational posters. When I first hefted this faux floral wonder onto my wall, using its convenient keyhole (because apparently even fake flowers need an escape route), I half expected the neighbors to stage an intervention. "We're concerned about your sudden interest in giant wall flora," they'd say, worry etched on their faces. But no, the only reaction I got was from my cat, who seemed personally offended that I'd introduced competition for wall space without consulting her first. This camellia, in all its ceramic glory, has become the conversation piece I never knew I needed. Guests invariably ask, "Is that a flower or did your wall just blossom?" Wall hanging
Works on drywall, plaster, or wood panelling. Drive a small screw at a slight upward angle, leaving the head proud of the wall. Slide the keyhole slot on the back over the screw head, adjust to level. Sits flush — no visible hardware.
No stud? No problem. A drywall anchor rated for the weight works fine.
Displaying a collection
Lay everything out on the floor first. Start with your anchor piece, build outward. Keep 2–3 inches between each piece and aim for the centre of the whole arrangement to land around eye level. Use painter's tape on the wall to map positions before committing to any screws.
Table & shelf display: Equally beautiful propped on a shelf, mantle, or side table. Pair with books, candles, or a small pot.
- Dust with a soft dry cloth or soft-bristled brush. Do not use wet cloths or liquid cleaners.
- Keep away from direct moisture, steam, and outdoor conditions. Indoor display only.
- Handle by the base or stem — avoid pressure on individual petals.
- If storing, return to original gift box with foam insert for protection.
