What You're Getting

Default Nursery Pot or Upgrade to a Chic Chive Pot

Our plants come in the standard nursery pot unless you opt for one of our snazzy Chive pots. Keep in mind, each plant is a unique snowflake—size, shape, and quirks may vary. We do our best to deliver a plant that resembles the online glam shot and will thrive in your home, but perfection is a tall order.

Plant Size

Pot Size vs. Plant Size: It’s Not You, It’s the Container

We like to keep things almost simple—plants are measured by the size of the pot they’re in, not how tall or fabulous they currently are. When someone says a plant is “in a 6-inches,” they’re talking about the diameter of the container, not the plant itself. That gorgeous fiddle leaf fig might be towering over your sofa while technically still being “in a 10-inch pot.” Height? Totally subjective. It depends on the plant species, its mood that day, and how mature it feels like being. So next time you’re plant shopping and wondering why your “small” monstera could double as a room divider—blame the pot. Not the plant.

Indoor Plant Care Guide:

How to take care of your Fittonia

If you like a little drama in your life but prefer it to come from your plants rather than your group chats, the Fittonia—aka nerve plant—is here to serve. This petite, vibrant foliage queen is famous for her delicate, veiny leaves and her tendency to faint if you so much as forget to water her on time. But don’t worry; she's all bark and no bite. Fittonia care is totally manageable once you learn her quirks.

Care Level

Medium: Requires some attention

Fittonia is not quite high-maintenance, but she does need consistent care to thrive. She likes her environment like most of us do: warm, slightly humid, and with just the right amount of light. Perfect for intermediate plant parents or beginners ready for a mild challenge.

Light Requirements

Fittonia prefers bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight is a no-go unless crispy leaves are your thing. It can tolerate lower light settings, but growth will slow down, and colors may fade. East- or north-facing windows are your best bet.

Watering

This is where the drama begins. Fittonia hates being dry, but it also doesn’t love soggy feet. Water it when the top inch of soil feels dry, and be consistent. Skip a watering, and she’ll faint in protest (but don’t panic—she usually perks up again after a drink).

Humidity and Temperature

Fittonia is basically a rainforest princess and thrives in 60%+ humidity. Bathrooms, kitchens, or a humidifier nearby will make her very happy. Misting is helpful, but not a full solution.

Keep things cozy. Fittonia prefers temps between 65-80°F (18-27°C). Drafts and cold air are her mortal enemies.

Soil

Use a well-draining potting mix. A combo of peat moss, perlite, and potting soil works wonders. Good drainage is essential to avoid root rot.

Interaction with Pets

Good news! Fittonia is non-toxic to pets, making it one of the best houseplants for pet owners. So if your cat decides to taste-test it, you can worry more about your plant than your pet.

Fittonia Family

Fittonia albivenis, commonly known as nerve plant, gets its name from the striking network of contrasting veins running through its leaves. Native to the rainforests of South America, Fittonia thrives in warm, humid environments and will let you know when she’s thirsty—dramatically, by collapsing into a floppy heap.

It’s part of the Acanthaceae family and is usually grown as a compact, ground-hugging houseplant that looks fantastic in terrariums, tabletops, or anywhere that needs a burst of botanical flair.

The Self-Watering Pot Who’s More Responsible Than Most Roommates

Remembering to water your plants is a noble goal, but life happens (and sometimes Netflix just won’t pause itself). Stylish, smart, and suspiciously more nurturing than your last situationship. Ryan the self-watering pot has a built-in reservoir that keeps your green buddy hydrated without you having to lift a finger—Making sure your plant stays alive even when you forget it exists. Finally, a Ryan you can actually trust.

Feed Your Plants Like You Actually Know What You’re Doing

Your plants called—they're tired of your "just water and hope" approach. Give themVerteRx, the premium plant food packed with vitamins and growth boosters. Stronger roots, lusher leaves, and fewer judgmental stares from your fiddle-leaf fig. Because even plants deserve proper nutrition (unlike your diet).
