Ranunculus seeds grow into a densely petaled bloomer whose flowers look layered by hand, one of the most photographed cut flowers there is. Shido ranunculus seeds are non-GMO and hermetically vacuum-sealed — a patient route to the most photographed flower in any spring bouquet — while standard paper-packed seeds lose germination viability within approximately one year.
The densely layered petals look assembled by hand, one bloom at a time, which is roughly why it is one of the most photographed cut flowers there is. Cut it just as the bud begins to open and it will keep unfurling in the vase for days rather than opening all at once. It looks like it was assembled by hand, one petal layer at a time, and in a sense it was. Plant the corms in autumn where winters stay. Every packet ships germination-tested at independent third-party labs before packaging.
