Palm Sago 6 Inch Pot
Default Nursery Pot or Upgrade to a Chic Chive Pot
Our plants come in the standard nursery pot unless you opt for one of our snazzy Chive pots. Keep in mind, each plant is a unique snowflake—size, shape, and quirks may vary. We do our best to deliver a plant that resembles the online glam shot and will thrive in your home, but perfection is a tall order.
Pot Size vs. Plant Size: It’s Not You, It’s the Container
We like to keep things almost simple—plants are measured by the size of the pot they’re in, not how tall or fabulous they currently are. When someone says a plant is “in a 6-inches,” they’re talking about the diameter of the container, not the plant itself. That gorgeous fiddle leaf fig might be towering over your sofa while technically still being “in a 10-inch pot.” Height? Totally subjective. It depends on the plant species, its mood that day, and how mature it feels like being. So next time you’re plant shopping and wondering why your “small” monstera could double as a room divider—blame the pot. Not the plant.

How to take care of your Palm
If you’ve been dreaming of transforming your living room into a lush tropical escape (without actually moving to Bali), indoor palm plants are here to make that fantasy happen. Elegant, leafy, and surprisingly easy to care for, palms are a fan favorite for anyone looking to add height, drama, and a whole lot of green goodness to their space.
Care Level
Easy: Low Maintenance
Indoor palm care is pretty low-maintenance if you follow a few basic rules. They’re generally beginner-friendly, but like any diva, they have their preferences.
Light Requirements
Palms love bright, indirect light. Too much sun and their fronds can crisp up like a forgotten salad. Too little light and they’ll pout (aka grow slowly and look leggy). A spot near an east- or west-facing window is ideal.
Watering
Palms like their soil to be lightly moist but not soggy. Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil feel dry. Overwatering can lead to root rot, while underwatering can cause brown leaf tips. Basically, avoid both extremes. Use lukewarm, filtered water if your tap water is heavy in fluoride or chlorine.
Humidity and Temperature
Palms are tropical, so they love humidity. A room with 40-60% humidity is perfect. If your home is on the dry side, mist the fronds or use a humidifier.
Keep your palm comfy between 65-80°F (18-27°C). Avoid cold drafts, heat vents, and sudden temperature changes—they don’t like surprises.
Soil
Use a well-draining potting mix designed for houseplants. Adding perlite or sand can help increase drainage. Never let the pot sit in standing water.
Interaction with Pets
Great news! Many indoor palms, such as the Parlor Palm and Areca Palm, are non-toxic to cats and dogs. However, always double-check the specific variety you have. Some palms like the Sago Palm are extremely toxic, so make sure you know what you’re dealing with.

Palm Family
Palm plants are tropical or subtropical beauties with feathered or fan-like fronds. While there are thousands of species in the wild, only a handful are suitable for indoor life. These indoor palm plants bring a breezy, vacation-like vibe into your home with minimal effort.
Palms grow slowly and adapt well to indoor conditions, making them ideal for living rooms, offices, and even bathrooms with good lighting. From the towering Majesty Palm to the charming Parlor Palm, there's a palm for every plant parent.
